Alfonso Cuaron’s return to the director’s chair is already being met with praise from early screenings of the film. The film sees astronaut Sandra Bullock stuck floating in space after an unexpected disaster leaves her stranded with only the voice of George Clooney for company. This latest trailer shows the developing relationship between Bullock’s rookie astronaut and Clooney’s seasoned professional.
No doubt the effects are absolutely stunning, capturing the haunting beauty of space. If any film could justify the use of IMAX and 3D then this will surely have to be it.But hopefully the grunting and screaming of Bullock is spread out during the course of the running time and don’t dominate the entire picture.
GRAVITY is released 4th October in the US and 8th November in the UK. It stars Sandra Bullock and George Clooney.
