Yes that’s right the promotional machine is well underway for the big, explosive remake of 1980’s classic FOOTLOOSE, with a series of posters being released.
The film looks to modernise the original but still keep the nostalgia factor for the existing fanbase. In other words Paramount are trying to hit as many of the four quadrants as possible. And even though the trailer didn’t excite me, I do like the style of the posters as they do not look typically Hollywood but closer to that of Korean or Chinese in their nature. Anyway FOOTLOOSE is out October 14th 2011.
