When the first Final Destination film came out Bill Clinton was US President, Take That remained broken up, and people were still saying ‘Wazzzzzzup?’ to each other. But here we are, 11 years on, and the horror franchise now looks set to go on for at least seven instalments.
Tony Todd, who reprises the character of Bludworth in the forthcoming Final Destination 5, has said that two more movies are on the cards.
“The producer told me as we were leaving Vancouver that if it opens at number one – which statistically it has – they’re going to shoot the next two simultaneously,” he told Dread Central.
The fifth part of the series is due out later this year, directed by Steven Quale and shot in 3D.
