Here’s the trailer for the upcoming Netflix movie, The Swarm. This one is a French horror movie probably not for the faint of heart and lovers of our summer buzzing insects. The Swarm revolves around a single mother who breeds locusts as high-protein food, but has trouble getting them to reproduce — until she finds they have a taste for blood.
Here’s the official synopsis courtesy of Netflix.
Virginie lives on a farm with her children Laura (15) and Gaston (7) and raises locusts as a high-protein crop. Life is hard: money worries and practical problems are piling up, tensions with her kids and neighbors are running high. But everything changes when she discovers the locusts have a taste for blood.
The Swarm lands on Netflix from 6th August, so not too long to wait for this one.
