In what is a pretty cool little scoop, our mates over at HeyUGuys have managed to find out the official title for Prometheus 2. Speaking with the film’s director at the press junket of The Martian, the site’s Stefan Pape managed to squeeze the official title of the forthcoming sequel from Ridley Scott’s mouth.
Prrometheus 2 will in fact be called Alien: Paradise Lost, so there’s definitely going to be a connection to the earlier movies, in the title at the very least. The plan is to still go ahead and shoot the film in February for a 2017 release. Both Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender are said to be returning for the next installment of the series, which will apparently be a trilogy (at the very least).
The next film has a release date set for May 30th, 2017. Click it on the following link to see the interview with Ridley Scott at HeyUGuys.
