Sony Pictures are reportedly in the process of re-developing their lucrative Men In Black property for a potential new trilogy of movies. The news comes from The Hollywood Reporter, who spoke with producers Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald.
The two producers spoke quite openly with the trade, and they also revealed that Will Smith would not be a part of the new films
Is Will Smith going to be part of it?
PARKES Most likely no.
“We’re in the middle of it. It’s very active,” Parkes revealed.
“It will be reinvented as a trilogy,” MacDonald added.
We were expecting a crossover with on of Sony’s othe big comedy series; the brilliant 21/22 Jump Street, but things seem to have gone quiet on that front.
