The BFI has announced that they will screen the final episode at their brilliant facility on London’s South Bank at the end of the month. Succession – The Finale with Jesse Armstrong, a special event will take place as the series finale airs simultaneously worldwide.
After four hugely successful seasons, the story of the highly dysfunctional Roy family draws to a close with this much anticipated final episode. Jesse Armstrong, Creator, Executive Producer, Writer and Showrunner of Succession will appear at BFI Southbank at midnight on the night of Sunday 28 May / morning of Monday 29 May, to share his memories and provide insight about the show. This celebratory behind-the-scenes event will lead up to the final episode which will screen at 02:00, the very same time that it will broadcast in the US and across the globe.
Succession’s finale marks the end of a cultural phenomenon which to date has garnered forty-eight Primetime Emmy Award nominations and thirteen wins, among countless other awards. Courtesy of HBO, Sky and NOW, this event will include a 30-minute break at 01:00, with BFI Riverfront open to ticket-holders for food and drink until the final episode begins at 02:00.
Tickets are on sale Thursday 4 May to BFI Patrons and Champions from 11:30, to BFI Members from 12:30 and on general sale from 16:00.
