New trailer and release date for one-shot drama ‘Boiling Point’ with Stephen Graham

The film gets its UK premiere at the BFI London Film Festival this week.

Vertigo Releasing has just revealed the brand new poster and trailer for upcoming one-shot restaurant-set drama Boiling Point. Stephen Graham leads the impressive cast of the film which just gets its UK premiere tonight at the BFI London Film Festival.

The now set for a release in UK and Irish cinemas on 3rd December 2021. The ‘one-take’ film stars BAFTA nominee Stephen Graham (The Irishman, Boardwalk Empire, The Virtues) as a head chef pushed to his limits. The film is directed by Philip Barantini, whom Vertigo previously worked with when they released his debut feature, Villain. Barantini and writer James Cummings adapted Boiling Point from Barantini’s BIFA-nominated short of the same name, which also starred Graham. The film is produced by Bart Ruspoli and Hester Ruoff.

Jason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Snatch), Ray Panthaki (Colette, Marcella), BAFTA winner Malachi Kirby (The Devils, Small Axe) and Vinette Robinson (Sherlock, Black Mirror, Star Wars Ep: IX), star alongside Graham.

Here’s the synopsis:

This is ‘Magic Friday’, the last Friday before Christmas and the busiest night of the year. Andy Jones, Head Chef at one of the top restaurants in London, is battling debts, addiction and an imploding personal life. The pressure is already on when health and safety services unexpectedly show up for inspection. Shot in a single take, in and out of a kitchen reaching boiling point.

I urge you to check this film out as soon as possible. I was lucky enough to be on-set (check out more from the visit very soon) and it is quite something.
