Now shooting is the long-awaited Blade Runner sequel that has, until now, not had an official title. Well, today Warner Bros. Pictures and Alcon Entertainment today have announced that the Blade Runner sequel will be officially called Blade Runner 2049.
Denis Villeneuve is directing the feature which unites Ryan Gosling with the original movie’s star Harrison Ford, and both have been pictured on-set with Villeneuve and producer Ridley Scott. Take a look at this:
Also in the movie are the likes of Robin Wright, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Carla Juri, Mackenzie Davis, Barkhad Abdi, David Dastmalchian, Hiam Abbass, Lennie James, Dave Bautista and Jared Leto.
Shooting continues for a October 6, 2017 release. One full year to go!
