Viewers in the UK won’t have seen the finale to the first season as yet, and if that’s you, do beware as there may be some minor spoilers for The People Vs O.J. Simpson below.

American Crime Story season 2 will reportedly revolve around the events of Hurricane Katrina, and the word on the street is that John Travolta, who produced and co-starred in the first season, wants to return for the next.

“I told them I was interested and that it was up to them,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “I don’t think they expected that I would say that, but because [Katrina] comes close to home, I felt that way.”

“I’m very interested in the Katrina story because [my wife Kelly Preston] and I were actually a part of that in real life,” Travolta added.

“We went with a plane-load of medics and supplies and went deep into the parishes to help people, so I have a personal feeling about that. It touches me deeply.”

Travolta isn’t the only one who wants more. Cuba Gooding Jr, who plays O.J. Simpson in The People Vs O.J. Simpson, also reportedly wants a return.

“I have an immense interest in working with [creator] Ryan Murphy again,” he told the trade, “so if he calls me for something, you know my phone will be on.”

American Crime Story airs on FX in the United States, where the finale aired last night, and BBC 2 in the UK. More news on American Crime Story season 2 as we get it.
