American Horror Story premieres on FX on October 8th, and for UK audiences will appear in FOX on October 21st. For now fans of the show have been treated to a little teaser trailer.
The trailer introduces the mysterious characters of the latest season, Freak Show. Jessica Lang stars as Elsa Mars, the leader of the touring freak show. The rest of the cast include; Kathy Bates as the bearded lady, Michael Chiklis as the strongman, Sarah Paulson as conjoined twins and John Carroll Lynch as villainous clown killer, Twisty.
American Horror Story has always been devilishly creative, taking inspiration from covens and insane asylums. However, their seasons seem to unravel midway and divide audiences. Series 3, Coven, was a bit of a letdown. There was no definitive storyline and this became all the more frustrating and tiresome as the series went on, with character coming back to life and pointless sub-plots that led nowhere. The curious characters of the latest season however do prove rather interesting. Check out the trailer below!
