Some actors find one role that follow them round forever. Some actors hate it and do everything in their power to shake of the type-casting, whilst others fully embrace the role and have successful careers off of it. Lou Ferrigno slots into the latter group with him confirming that he will be playing Hulk again in AVENGERS: THE AGE OF ULTRON.
Ferrigno first played the role in 1977 during television series The Incredible Hulk, and has gone on to voice the creature in most of the recent movie adaptations. Since his portrayal it has been hard to get another actor to stick to the role for more than one film with Eric Bana and Edward Norton both passing on further adventures.
Mark Ruffalo fans need not worry though as Ferrigno is on vocal duties only, well roaring duties only. This news shouldn’t come as a surprise as the actor provided his vocals on the first film but it is nice to have confirmation that continuity will be kept.
AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON is once more directed by Joss Whedon and stars Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, and Mark Ruffalo. It is set for release on 1st May 2015.
