After 2012’s THE AVENGERS made $1.5 Billion worldwide, shattering box office records, fan expectations and the collective minds of the entire globe, it’s safe to say that the bar has been set pretty high for its sequel. No doubt the mastermind that is Joss Whedon is up to the task however, with AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON currently filming in South Africa before moving over to our very own London.
Now Chris Hemsworth has been chatting about when he and his fellow super powered team mates will be re-assembling for the highly anticipated sequel. Of course the last time we saw Hemsworth’s god sized alter-ego was in last years THOR: THE DARK WORLD, which proved to be a huge financial success. Now he will be returning to play Thor for the fourth time in next years AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON alongside the rest of the team from the original smash hit film. You can read what Hemsworth had to say below:
‘Everything in Avengers is ramped up though. It kind of blew me away reading it. I don’t know how Joss does it, but everyone has just gone up another notch and the whole thing is bigger and more insane and crazy. Yeah, he’s a genius’.
Lets hope that the film can live up to its extremely high expectations and that it will blow us all away as it did for Hemsworth. AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON stars Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders and James Spader.
