‘Girls’ fans rejoice: your show is coming back this month and to whet your appetite here are two clips from the upcoming season 3. One features Hannah, Marnie, Adam and Shoshanna discussing relationships and the other a serious conversation between Adam and Shoshanna about favourite utensils. If these clips are anything to go by we might see some more Shoshanna screen time in season 3 – great news as Zosia Mamet is one of our favourite things about the show.
News also arrived today that despite only airing last night in the USA Lena Dunham and the creative team behind ‘Girls’ have chosen to make the first two episodes of season three available to US viewers on Youtube. HBO shows are usually kept within its’ own subscription service and aren’t available on services like LoveFilm or Netflix so this is a real change of heart from the HBO team.
The show, which has just been renewed for season 4, missed out on Golden Globes last night for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy (to Andy Samberg’s ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’) and Dunham couldn’t make it two years in a row for Best Actress, losing to ‘Parks and Recreation’ star Amy Poehler. However, with it’s first two episodes of season three airing last night to positive reviews seems its’ fans aren’t going anywhere. Check out the clips below to see what the new season has it store when it returns to Sky Atlantic on 20th January.
