60-Second TV Spot For Lance Armstrong Documentary ‘The Armstrong Lie’

“This isn’t a story about doping, it’s a story about power.”

Judging by the destructive aftermath of Lance Armstrong’s unbelievable fall from grace, that quote from this 60-second TV spot for upcoming documentary THE ARMSTRONG LIE fully sums up for me what happened to the once great man and inspirational leader.

I don’t think anyone could have predicted what happened but his continual success eventually led to suspicion, which in turn led to the truth to be revealed. This documentary was originally intended to follow him, his life and all the good things he was doing but judging by the clip below the trailer and our review from the London Film Festival – there’s still a whole lot more to discover.

Check it out and prepare to be equally shocked and captivated by the downfall:

THE ARMSTRONG LIE is released in the UK on January 31st. If you’re interested as well, Stephen Frears is also currently working on the movie version starring Ben Foster and Chris O’Dowd. You can read more on that by clicking here.

Dan loves writing, film, music and photography. Originally from Devon, he did London for 4 years and now resides in Exeter. He also has a mild obsession with squirrels and cake. The latter being more of a hobby. Favourite movies include HIGH FIDELITY, ALMOST FAMOUS, ROXANNE, GOOD WILL HUNTING, JURASSIC PARK, too many Steve Martin films and Nolan's BATMAN universe.
