We’ rounded up a trio of US one-sheets from exciting offerings coming to a theatre new you… soon!

First, we have the first look at Carlos Estevez (aka the madman that is Charlie Sheen) as the terrifying image of the US President who personally recruits ex-federale Mexican mercenary Machete Cortez (Danny Trejo) for crazy sequel, MACHETE KILLS. The first trailer suggested more action-packed mayhem from director Robert Rodriguez and his all-star cast, who include Jessica Alba, Amber Heard, Michelle Rodriguez, Lady Gaga, William Sadler and Mel Gibson. The film has just pulled its US release date back from September to the 4th October. No word on a UK date yet.

Ashton Kutcher leads the story of late Apple icon Steve Jobs in the simply titled, JOBS. It will chart his ascension from college dropout into one of the most revered creative entrepreneurs of the 20th century and this latest unintentionally hilarious and psychedelic first poster suggests a more fitting portrait to the recent Funny Or Die iSteve skit starring Justin Long. Last week saw the release of the first trailer for the film co-starring Josh Gad, Dermot Mulroney, Lukas Haas, J.K. Simmons, Ron Eldard, Amanda Crew and Matthew Modine. It’s released in cinemas 16th August and is directed by Joshua Michael Stern.

The 1933 film, starring acting a singing legend Judy Garland, will be hoping to capitalise on success of Sam Raimi’s recent hit prequel, OZ THE GREAT & POWERFUL as it hits cinemas for one week only from the 20th September. Earlier this week saw the trailer highlighting the glorious new transfer.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
