RED director Robert Schwentke follows up his all-star action comedy with an adaptation of the supernatural Dark Horse graphic novel R.I.P.D. by Peter M. Lenkov. Ryan Reynolds leads as the recently slain rookie cop, Nick Walker, who becomes part of the team of undead police officers in the afterlife, where he’s partnered up with Jeff Bridges’ Old West gunslinger lawman Roy Pulsipher. The two collaborate to bring Nick’s murderer to justice in this life… or the next!
Check out the first TV promo for the film co-starring Kevin Bacon, Mary-Louise Parker, Stephanie Szostak and Robert Knepper in the fun looking MEN IN BLACK-style crime caper set for US cinemas from 19th July and the UK on the 30th August.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
