Edgar Wright Guest Of Honour At MCM London Comic Con 2013

The Worlds End Edgar Wright Simon Pegg

Ah, fantastic news as it has been confirmed that one of THN favourite, Edgar Wright,  is to be a special guest at this month’s MCM London Comic Con. Wright will be attending the Saturday of Europe’s largest comic con to promote THE WORLD’S END.

Starring Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Martin Freeman, Rosamund Pike and Paddy Considine, THE WORLD’S END sees five childhood friends set out to recreate an epic pub crawl of their youth. Convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King (Simon Pegg), a 40-year-old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, his reluctant pals once again attempt to reach the fabled pub – The World’s End. But as they try to reconcile the past and present, they realise the real struggle is for the future; not just theirs but humankind’s. In addition to that, Edgar Wright helmed breakout zombie comedy SHAUN OF THE DEAD,  action-comedy HOT FUZZ and critically-acclaimed comic book adaptation SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD, as well as the much loved slacker sitcom Spaced. He is currently working on ANT-MAN, a movie starring Marvel Comics’ diminutive superhero.
