It was announced today that TRON: LEGACY and ON THE ROAD actor Garrett Hedlund will be joining Toby Kebbell, Riz Ahmed and Margot Robbie for VIOLENT TALENT. The film tells the story of a group of friends who try and build a criminal empire in modern Chicago. The film will also see screenwriter Matthew Michael Carnahan finally make his directorial debut after penning the screenplays for WORLD WAR Z and THE KINGDOM.
Hedlund has become a dark horse to watch out for recently, his latest project INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS is up for competition at Cannes, making it the second year in a row where a film he has had a role in has made an appearance at the festival. We’ll have to keep an eye on this one…
