We’re all fond of a little girl on girl action, right? RAZE is maybe a little different to most of those perverted minds as Tarantino’s stunt muse Zoe Bell (DEATH PROOF, KILL BILL) unleashes her ruthless streak with this brutal effort.
The film will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival later this month and follows a large group of abducted women who are forced to fight each other using their bare hands in an unknown, underground gladiatorial lair. Bell takes the role of Sabrina who finds herself fighting to the death with other innocent women in an effort to save her child for the amusement of unseen spectators. Of course, it’s last man (or rather lady) standing who’ll be set free.
RAZE is directed by Josh Waller (making his feature-length debut) from a script by Robert Beaucage, with fellow Aussie beauty Rachel Nichols co-starring alongside Rosario Dawson, Sherilyn Fenn, Tracie Thoms and Doug Jones. No word yet of potential release dates but check out the trailer and posters below.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.

Neither Zoe Bell nor Rachel Nichols are Australian. Bell is from New Zealand and Nichols is American.
