The iconic star of masterpieces SCARY MOVIE, DUNGEONS & DRAGONS and LITTLE MAN, will soon unleash the almighty sure-fire classic A HAUNTED HOUSE on the world. Yes, Marlon Wayans headlines a new take on the gothic suspense genre, with the film paying homage to the legendary works of William Castle, Todd Browning and Alfred Hitchcock.
If you’ve missed the trailer and previous poster, you’re one lucky bugger as, of course, I’m talking out my arse, much like Wayans in most of his movies. He’s giving us yet another shower of shite with a pathetic-looking parody on the found-footage films of recent times. This latest poster ‘pokes fun’ at the possession-themed thriller, THE DEVIL INSIDE, which also happened to be another fright-free shitfest.
A HAUNTED HOUSE co-stars Nick Swardson, David Koechner, Essence Atkins, Cedric the Entertainer, Bobbie Lee, Dave Sheridan and is released in the US on the 11th January 2013 (although no date set for the UK, thankfully). My THN resignation letter is sitting close by just incase I’m slated to endure such an atrocity for review. It’s not happening guys!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
