After making her appearance in Christopher Nolan’s epic caped-crusader-conclusion with THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, we all thought Anne Hathaway’s sexy leather-clad anti-heroine had shacked up with our crippled miracle-surviving superhero (or was that Alfred’s imagination). Well, during promoting musical award-favourite LES MISERABLES, the stunning actress has admitted she’d love to suit-up once again for more thieving shenanigans involving Selena Kyle.
No one’s talked to me about it, I would love it. I actually, it’s so embarrassing, I was at a press Q & A thing the other night for a screening of ‘The Dark Knight’ and the moderator asked me, ‘So what was it like to say goodbye to the character?’ And I burst into tears, because I miss her. It just makes me cry. I miss her. I love Selena so much and I love her presence in my life and getting to… I’m crying again. So assuming there was enough Kleenex in the world, I would love to do a spin-off.
A two hour film with Hathaway prowling around on all-fours would do me (and I’m sure many others) just fine, without the need for a plot and it would certainly be a prettier sight than that dire Halle Berry abomination.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
