Writer/Director Marcus Dunstan’s sequel to his moderately successful and gore-full suspense thriller THE COLLECTOR has recently given us a grotesque first poster, slick banner and great first trailer. Despite not hitting the box-office numbers of his SAW-written sequels (who he collaborated with Patrick Melton), I found enough thrills in that first film to suggest it was way better than most gave it credit for. Now sequel THE COLLECTION will see the twisted masked manic back doing what he does best – sick, twisted torture!
We’ve the latest poster for THE COLLECTION which sees the mysterious silent psycho suiting up for more grisly mayhem, with the great Josh Stewart set to be put through hell once again after surviving the previous entry. I’m hoping the film secures a UK release after hitting cinemas in the US on the 30th November.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
