Here’s something rather brilliant for the upcoming September 7th release for DREDD 3D, it’s been appearing in subways in the USA and we’re hoping for a few to turn up soon in the UK. This graffiti-style poster is simple, but effective, with Dredd’s helmet design and the truth that ‘Judgment Is Coming’. DREDD 3D is an adaptation for the big screen from the legendary 2000AD character, and stars Karl Urban as Judge Dredd, Olivia Thirlby is rookie Cassandra Anderson and a vicious-looking Lena Headey’s as the villainous Ma-Ma . The latter best known for her role in GAME OF THRONES as Cersei Lannister but she’s looking a little different this time.
I’m looking forward to this immensely and if the recent blood-thirsty clip and unique futuristic live-action poster anything to go by, we’ve got the soul of SIN CITY injected with Tarantino ethics on the horizon but still to be its own animal. Here’s that poster & share away:
