Angie Harmon For She-Hulk?

The world truly has gone Marvel Comics mad. And about bloody time, too. After the ridiculously successful AVENGERS ASSEMBLE everyone wants to get in on the superhero act, and it seems LAW & ORDER actress Angie Harmon is waging a campaign to nab the role of She-Hulk.

Of course, there’s no plans at present for the character to appear in any upcoming Marvel movies, but Harmon was so impressed by Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk in AVENGERS she’s making a play for her anyway. Take a look at the below photo – Harmon tweeted the image of herself smashing the pavement, only to have a fan tweet in back with the correct skin tone coloured in.

‘I have to be her,’ Harmon told EW. ‘You don’t understand. I have to be her. It’s the best quote ever when The Hulk turns around and goes ‘I’m always angry.’ I was like, Oh my god! I stood up in the theater and literally cheered. I did.’

Hmmm. That all sounds a trifle annoying.

For those who don’t know her, She-Hulk is in fact Jen Walters, the cousin of angry boffin Bruce Banner. Following a blood transfusion from Banner, Walters became a female version of Hulk, though she is traditionally portrayed as having greater control over her alter-ego, retaining her considerable intelligence and day job as a lawyer.

Whilst Marvel is yet to confirm the appearance of She-Hulk, with their ever-expanding film universe, it could be a possibility. Especially considering She-Hulk has been a longtime member of the Avengers. Could she be an addition to the super team for the sequel?

As for Angie Harmon? THN won’t be placing any bets just yet.
