What do you do if a film takes $2.7 billion at the worldwide box-office? Well you make a sequel, then another one, but why stop there? James Cameron has recently been on a trip to China promoting King-maker TITANIC 3D and he’s been talking up the AVATAR franchise big-time:
I’m in the “Avatar” business. Period. That’s it. I’m making “Avatar 2,” “Avatar 3,” maybe “Avatar 4,”…I think within the “Avatar” landscape I can say everything I need to say that I think needs to be said, in terms of the state of the world and what I think we need to be doing about it. And doing it in an entertaining way.
So he’s not going to be ‘producing’ anymore heinously average films, just making them by the sounds of it.
We at THE HOLLYWOOD NEWS are big Cameron fans, even Fordy’s coming round to him, but we’re a bit tired of all this AVATAR stuff; you can’t fill 3 more films with a plot written on a matchbox can you?
What do you reckon, have a little think and pass a few of the thoughts onto the world by commenting below.
AVATAR 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and onwards will be released sometime in the future.

Sam is a bloody lovely lad born and raised in Bristol (he’s still there and can’t escape). Favourite films include THE LOST BOYS, DRIVE, FIGHT CLUB and COMMANDO, well pretty much any 1980s Arnie film you can throw his way…even RED SONJA. Sam once cancelled a Total Film subscription after they slagged off Teen Wolf. He resubscribed 2 days later.
