Justin Timberlake Launches ‘In Time’ Photography Contest

In a couple of weeks, on 1st November 2011, the new Justin Timberlake movie IN TIME will hit cinemas. I have heard buzz around town that this could be the movie that establishes JT as the next big action star in Hollywood. We’ll see about that nearer the time, but here’s news of a superb competition dreamt up by the man himself to promote the movie.

So, it’s a bit of a photography contest, and Justin is running a competition to find the best photograph that represents the phrase ‘Every Second Counts’. The photo can be of anything and everything – Justin is looking for the most unique perspective that best embodies this poignant theme. Make it moving, touching, and original; there are no creative limitations.

More details: People can submit their photographs to the competition web page and the winning picture will become Justin’s Facebook profile picture (12 million Likes) and Twitter image (6 million followers) for the entire month of November.

Justin Timberlake will choose five finalists from all submissions and a further five highest voted photos will be named as the remaining finalists. Justin will then choose one winner from the pool of ten finalists.

The winning photograph will also be displayed in a pop-up gallery at the Premiere of In Time in Los Angeles and featured across Justin’s social media channels, including justintimberlake.com

The competition is open to all countries and will close on October 10, 2011.

Pretty cool huh?

Here’s some more info regarding IN TIME, plus the trailer. I don’t care what anyone thinks on this. I’m loving the look of this movie…

Welcome to a world where time has become the ultimate currency. You stop aging at 25, but there’s a catch:  you’re genetically-engineered to live only one more year, unless you can buy your way out of it. The rich “earn” decades at a time (remaining at age 25), becoming essentially immortal, while the rest beg, borrow or steal enough hours to make it through the day.  When a man from the wrong side of the tracks is falsely accused of murder, he is forced to go on the run with a beautiful hostage.  Living minute to minute, the duo’s love becomes a powerful tool in their war against the system.
