Dermot Mulroney joins Kidman, Wasikowska, Goode and Park Chan-wook on Stoker

There is another casting announcement out of debut English film, Stoker, from Korean Park Chan-wook, in Dermot Mulroney (MY BEST FRIEND’S WEDDING).

The film centres on Mia Wasikowska (ALICE IN WONDERLAND) and her Mother, Nicole Kidman (DAYS OF THUNDER), as her strange uncle, Matthew Goode (WATCHMAN) comes to visit which leads to a number of disappearances in their small town. Mulroney is reported by THR to play Wasikowska’s father, which must means his on screen time is limited since his character dies in the first act or even before the film begins.

Mulroney also joins Jacki Weaver (ANIMAL TOWN), Lucas Till (X-MEN FIRST CLASS) and Alden Ehrenreich (TETRO) from the screenplay by Wentworth Miller (PRISON BREAK).

Paul finished is BA in Film & Broadcast Productions during the summer and has somehow landed the position of Media & Marketing Manager in the London Korean Film Festival happening this November (plug). While at University Paul found his speciality lay in Script Development, scriptwriting and Editing. He has written, edited and director a small number of not very good short films but does not let that dissuade him from powering through. After the Koreans are through with him he looks to enter the paid world of Script Development. He likes incredibly bad horror films, East Asian movies, comics and lots of other stuff.
