The box-office numbers for the Thanksgiving weekend in the United States and Canada are in and THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON has managed to hand on to the number one spot… but only just.
The teen horror flick mustered $42.5 million in five days compared to the newcomer THE BLIND SIDE, which hit at number two with a little over $40.1 million. New Moon suffered a massive 70% drop since last week, which means most fans went out and saw it on that massive opening weekend. THE BLIND SIDE took $57.5 million for five days after opening on Wednesday.
