Snack Shack has had a home release date set for June in the UK. We reviewed the film positively back in March and following a brief theatrical run, the feature is coming to buy on digital since 3rd June and then to rent from 17th June.
The film is written and directed by Adam Carter Rehmeier and stars Conor Sherry, Gabriel LaBelle, Mika Abdalla with Nick Robinson and David Costabile.
Nebraska City, summer of 1991—Inseparable best friends AJ and Moose seize the opportunity to run the local pool’s rundown snack shack after their plan to gamble on dog races and sell home-brewed beer goes down the drain. Dreaming of striking it rich, things take an unexpected turn when they meet Brooke, an effortlessly cool lifeguard who puts their big summer plans and their friendship at risk.
We said that the film is ‘an awkwardly charming, bittersweet, and hilarious hit of nostalgia, Snack Shack is another win for Rehmeier.’
