Jamie Foxx is currently preparing to star in a new biopic based on the life of legendary, though controversial boxer Mike Tyson in a movie to be directed by none other than Martin Scorsese.
The actor gave an interview to Hot97, the world’s most popular hip-hop station this week, where he talked about the film, and it sounds awesome, and very, very, Scorsese.
Terrence Winter (who worked with Scorsese on the brilliant THE WOLF OF WALL STREET) will write the screenplay.
The interview was video taped and you can hear Foxx describe in great detail the film’s opening scene. He seems to have Tyson’s voice down already. Can’t wait.
