House guests eh? They come round, eat all your food and don’t seem to know when to leave. Adam Wingard’s upcoming psychological thriller takes this idea one stage further.
THE GUEST follows David (Dan Stevens), a discharged American soldier who turns up on the doorstep of his fallen buddy Caleb’s home. The grieving family welcome him in…but things aren’t all they seem with the almost too-good-to-be-true David.
The full trailer follows familiar lines and you can see it below.
THE GUEST arrives in cinemas from September, also starring Maika Monroe, Brendan Meyer, Sheila Kelley, Leland Orser and Lance Reddick. Just remember to hide all the family silver.

Claire Joanne Huxham comes from the south-west, where the cider flows free and the air smells of manure. She teaches A-level English by day and fights crime by night. When not doing either of these things she can usually be found polishing her Star Trek DVD boxsets. And when she can actually be bothered she writes fiction and poetry that pops up on the web and in print. Her favourite film in the whole world, ever, is BLADE RUNNER.
