A new trailer has dropped for the futuristic science fiction film The Beast starring Lea Seydoux and George MacKay. The film had its world premiere at the 2023 Venice Film Festival to great acclaim and recently showcased at the London Film Festival.
In a near-future world dominated by artificial intelligence, where human emotions are perceived as a threat, Gabrielle (Lea Seydoux) embarks on a journey to purify her DNA by revisiting her past lives. During this process, she reconnects with Louis (George MacKay), her great love. However, a sense of foreboding and fear grips her as she anticipates an impending catastrophe.
The thought-provoking film, which spans three time periods, draws inspiration from Henry James’s evocative short story, The Beast in the Jungle and will be released in UK and Irish cinemas 31st May.
Here’s the latest trailer for the film.
