First Official Cast Photos For Batman Series ‘Gotham’

The hype is slowly starting to build around Fox’s new DC series Gotham, which is due to start airing in the autumn. We now have the first official images of British actor Sean Pertwee as Wayne family butler Alfred Pennyworth, and as you can see he’s definitely got the looks for the part.

Pertwee will obviously be playing a younger Alfred than we’re used to seeing, as he takes care of a recently-orphaned Bruce Wayne in the show which will look at the rise of Police Commissioner Jim Gordon and some of Batman’s most notorious nemeses.

Speaking of which, the production has also tweeted a shot of Carmen Bicondova as a 14-year old Selina Kyle, who of course becomes the morally grey Catwoman:

And to round off, here’s a quick look at Donal Logue as Gotham City Detective Harvey Bullock:

Gotham is creating some mighty high expectations for itself, but hopefully it won’t be long before we see an official trailer to get a better idea of just how successful the series is going to be (or otherwise).

The series is due to air later this year and stars Benjamin McKenzie, Donal Logue, Robin Lord Taylor, Sean Pertwee, Jada Pinkett Smith, Carmen Bicondova and David Mazouz.
