We’re still not seeing a lot of the beast himself, unless you count the leaked looks at toys and book covers, but for now we have these quick behind the scenes look where everybody seems very jolly. Although not giving too much away, Bryan Cranston declares that they are taking a “JAWS” approach by not always showing the monster. As a huge fan of GODZILLA this look is more advertisement than informative, but with such a secretive project, it’s nice to get a bit of anything.
Director of MONSTERS, Gareth Edwards, returns to the monster genre for a reboot of Toho’s iconic creature, who will reportedly be facing off against a giant spider of some kind, although no clarification as to whether it is Kumonga or not.
GODZILLA will be released 16th May 2014. It stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Ken Watanabe, Bryan Cranston, Sally Hawkins, Akira Takarada, and David Strathairn.
