It doesn’t give us a lot, but it gives us what we want. RIDDICK sees Vin Diesel return to the role of the anti-hero who first appeared in the brilliant PITCH BLACK. The second outing THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK was met with mixed reviews, but I always enjoyed it. It certainly had eyes bigger than its belly, but it gave us a lot to chew on. This time Riddick will find himself on a sun scorched planet battling some alien predators, only to have a man from his past come to his rescue. It sounds like a perfect mix between the first two outings.
RIDDICK is released 6th September. It stars Vin Diesel, Katee Sackhoff, Karl Urban, Dave Bautista, and Bokeem Woodbine.
