Bloody ‘ell! It’s Ray Winstone In Aronofsky’s ‘Noah’

Not too long ago, well more recently than the great flood, we brought you the first pictures of Russel Crowe on set as NOAH in Darren Aronofsky’s biblical tale. Now we can take our first look at Ray Winstone, who will be playing the film’s antagonist. We have no word yet on the specifics behind his character, nor his motivation. I always thought the antagonist in Noah’s Arc was the rain. Winstone certainly looks like he has been through the wars, with cuts and bruises covering his body. I hope this is make-up, and not the aftermath of an onset disagreement with Jennifer Connelly. She can be a mean one.

NOAH is set for release 28th March 2014. It stars Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins, Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, Ray Winstone, Kevin Durand, and Douglas Booth.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
