The last few hours we’ve seen trailer exclusives for some much anticipated projects, as STAND UP GUYS, TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D and the Del Toro-produced horror MAMA. Now we’re able to bring you the full-length trailer for Steven Spielberg’s forthcoming biopic LINCOLN, which sees the Oscar-winning actor Daniel Day Lewis headline as the iconic 16th US President, alongside a hugely impressive supporting cast. The film is based on the acclaimed novel ‘Team Of Rivals’ by Doris Kearns Goodwin.
The heartfelt, historical epic which hits the UK on the 25th January, co-stars Hal Holbrook, David Oyelowo, Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones, James Spader, John Hawkes, Michael Stuhlbarg, David Strathairn, Walton Goggins, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tim Blake Nelson, Bruce McGill, Jackie Earle Haley, Lee Pace and Jared Harris. Will it be a contender come Oscar night? We’ll find out in February.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.

Like the look of this, however there is the over-riding fear Spielberg may just mess it up.
