Chilean director Nicolás López makes his English-language debut with the gory-looking disaster thriller, AFTERSHOCK. The film follows three friends visiting Chile, who soon discover an underground nightclub to drink and dance their nights away – until a horrific earthquake to hits the City. However, the trio and a handful of surviving revellers quickly learn that reaching the surface is just the beginning of their terrifying nightmare.
CABIN FEVER and HOSTEL director Eli Roth produces and co-stars in the film that also features former Disney TV princess-turned-pop pixie, Selena Gomez, and here we have the first trailer that hints at the grisly aftermath to come once those survivors escape the epic natural disaster…
AFTERSHOCK is expected early next year and co-stars Ariel Levy, Nicolas Martinez, Lorenza Izzo, Natasha Yarovenko, Andrea Osvart and Miguel Asensio.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
