We all heard rumours over the weekend that Angelina Jolie was looking to star in a new Bosnian war-themed movie right? Well, the truth behind the rumours are that yes, Jolie is involved in a Bosnian war film, but the fact is that she is writing and making her directorial debut with the project. Plus, she will NOT star!
A press release reads the following:
“Based on an original screenplay written by Jolie, the actors will be solely compromised of various ethnicities from the region of the former Yugoslavia,”
“The film focuses on a Serbian man and a Bosnian woman who meet on the eve of the war and the effect the war has on their relationship.”
Wow. GK Films’ Graham King and Tim Headington are producing the film, which is set to start shooting later in the year.
