Ahead of the third season of the hit E4 show The Inbetweeners airing on the digital channel, we have just learned that a film version of the hit comedy about four horny teenagers and their wild adventures is filming over in Crete.
The big story today is that Simon Bird (pictured below centre), has finally agreed to join the cast over in Greece for filming on the project. Bird has finally joined the production after previously reportedly holding out for more money to reprise his role as Will McKenzie in the film, which is about Will’s summer holiday abroad. Producers deny that there was any dispute and now everyone is back together for the shoot.
A source told Digital Spy: “The original cast are all back together for the Inbetweeners film and have started work on the movie over in Crete.
“Simon is back on board and everyone’s happy. He had to come back with his tail between his legs when the producers refused to bend over and concede his demands.”
“As soon as the call went out for another actor, he decided to do it. Luckily for him, there was still lots of good will on the set and he is brilliant at the part.”
As we previously mentioned, producers have denied there was any dispute in the first place. We’re just pleased that there is going to be a movie at all! Very excited!!! What do you guys think?
Check out the trailer for the forthcoming series below. GENIUS!
