The long-mooted Mandate Pictures production LAST VEGAS has reportedly found a director in John Turtletaub, best known for the NATIONAL TREASURE films (oh dear).
LAST VEGAS tells the story of an old group of schoolfriends from the 1950s who reunite in Vegas to marry off the last of them, lifelong playboy Billy. The trip is dealt a duff hand when Billy falls out with widower friend Paddy over the affections of a resident Vegas lounge singer.
Turtletaub will replace original director Peter Chelsom (SERENDIPITY – oh dear again). LAST VEGAS is produced by Larry Mark (DREAMGIRLS) and is written by Dan Fogelman (CRAZY, STUPID, LOVE).
