EDGE OF TOMORROW isn’t give too much away, bar the marketing line of #LiveDieRepeat which tells us a bit part of the plot, but it still looks pretty darn epic in terms of action. I’m also a fan of both Blunt and Cruise and so I see this as a clever team-up.
The film centres around Major William Cage (Cruise), who’s an officer who has never seen a day of combat but is dropped into a mission and killed within minutes. Before we know it, he’s caught up in a never-ending time loop that forces him to live out the same war over and over, fighting and dying again…and again…possibly until he meets Blunt’s character – I’d think!
Take a look at this little teaser clip entitled ‘Tomorrow‘ that puts us inside a scene, released in UK cinemas and IMAX on May 30th 2014.
