Universal Pictures has debuted a brand new trailer for the upcoming film Champions, which will see Woody Harrelson return to the basketball court. This one is set to open in cinemas in the first part of 2023, a March date already set for the U.S.
The film also sees Harrelson reteam with his Kingpin director Bobby Farrelly while Ernie Hudson, Cheech Marin, and Matt Cook are listed as being among the cast.
The synopsis is as follows.
Woody Harrelson stars in the hilarious and heartwarming story of a former minor-league basketball coach who, after a series of missteps, is ordered by the court to manage a team of players with intellectual disabilities. He soon realizes that despite his doubts, together, this team can go further than they ever imagined.
