According to Deadline, A Quiet Place star Emily Blunt is reportedly in talks to join the cast of Christopher Nolan’s next film, Oppenheimer. The film is set up over at Universal Pictures and will reportedly hit screens sometime in 2023.
Cillian Murphy is leading the cast of the film which will start shooting in the new year. He will play the title character of Robert Oppenheimer, the man who ran the Manhattan Project that led to the invention of the atomic bomb. Blunt would play is on-screen wife.
The films is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin, and reportedly has a release date set for 21st July of 2023.
