20th Century Fox has revealed a brand new international poster for the upcoming, Brad Pitt-led space drama Ad Astra. The film lands in cinemas later this year and looks to be one of the highlights of the year. Tommy Lee Jones, Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler and Donald Sutherland are also amongst the impressive cast. James Gray directs.
In the film, astronaut Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) travels to the outer edges of the solar system to find his missing father and unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of our planet. His journey will uncover secrets that challenge the nature of human existence and our place in the cosmos.

James Gray and Ethan Gross wrote the screenplay for the film. The street date is 18th September. I’m expecting this one to pop up at some of the autumn film festivals. Check out the new poster above and, if you’d missed it, the latest trailer below.
