Cinema continues to evolve year on year and as such there are now many incredible releases, film fans do not want to miss. 2019 is no different! As we know Netflix continue to be at the head of the industry with an incredible list of options available for members. Which films will be a grossing success? Punters have been supporting the films in the list using the latest online bingo bonus. Here we cover two films not to be missed on Netflix this year.
Triple Frontier
The newly released American action thriller is already gathering positive reviews. It has been directed by J.C. Chandor, and has a number of stars including Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund and Pedro Pascal. It is now available for worldwide streaming following its original Netflix release. It follows a group of former Special Ops Soldiers who plan a big heist job of a South American crime boss.
The plot covers Santiago Garcia (Known as Pope) who is working as a private military adviser in Colombia, looking to combat drug crime. He is then asked by an informant called Yovanna to help smuggle her and her brother out of the country. In exchange she will give him key information on the whereabouts of drug lord, Lorea. Lorea also lives in a safehouse in the jungle along with all his cash, which leads to Pope recruiting his former Special forces friends for the job of seizing this vast amount of cash ($250 million). The movie is one of the must see action movies of 2019, and a great addition to the fantastic offering on Netflix.

The Irishman
Possibly the most anticipated movie in the history of Netflix, is the Irishman, that is being released later this year. The upcoming crime film is being directed by Martin Scorsese and is based on the book, I heard you paint houses by Charles Brandt. As expected there is a bumper cast including Robert De Niro as Frank Sheeran, who is an alleged hitman for the Bufalino crime family and labour union leader. The movie also stars the likes of Al Pacino, Jimmy Pesci, Anna Paquin and Ray Romano to name just a few.
This will be the ninth feature collaboration between Scorsese and De Niro and is without a doubt one of the most anticipated upcoming releases. This is also due to the fact it has the highest budget of any of his previous movies. The Irishman is based around organised crime in post war America. Filming for the movie began in New York city in the latter stages of 2017, before finishing in March 2018. Due to the continued interest in the movie it is now set to have a wide theatrical release, which has never taken place for any previous Netflix movie.
