In a surprising, but very pleasing move, Netflix has released the Stranger Things season 3 trailer overnight, and it looks sooo good. You can watch it in the player directly below.
Stranger Things is a love letter to the ’80s classics that captivated a generation, Stranger Things is set in 1983 Indiana, where a young boy vanishes into thin air. As friends, family and local police search for answers, they are drawn into an extraordinary mystery involving top-secret government experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl.
In Stranger Things 2, which was released earlier this year, it was 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana were still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.

We correctly presume that the events of season 3 are to be set in 1985, but we don’t know a huge amount other than that yet.

What we do know are the episode titles, which are clearly revealed in the Netflix announcement teaser. They are as follows:
1. “Suzie, Do You Copy?”
2. “The Mall Rats”
3. “The Case of the Missing Life Guard”
4. “The Sauna Test”
5. “The Source”
6. “The Birthday”
7. “The Bite”
8. “The Battle of Starcourt”
Okay, so a bit vague and very non-revealing, but we’re digging everything we’ve seen so far nonetheless.
You can watch the Stranger Things season 3 trailer in the player below. Expect the eight new episodes on Netflix sometime in 2019.
