New ‘First Man’ Footage Shows One Giant Leap For Mankind

I’ve got to admit, this one is high on the list for us to see this year. First Man tells the story of Neil Armstrong, the first man to step foot on the moon all of the way back in 1969. The film stars Ryan Gosling as Armstrong and boasts an impressive accompanying cast, including Claire Foy (The Crown) as Janet Shearon, Armstrong’s first wife, Corey Stoll as Buzz Aldrin, Kyle Chandler as Deke Slayton, Jason Clarke as Ed White, Shea Wigham as Gus Grissom, Jon Bernthal as David Scott, Brian d’Arcy James as Joseph A. Walker, Pablo Schreiber as Jim Lovell, Patrick Fugit, Cory Michael Smith, Lukas Haas and Christopher Abbott.

A new video was released yesterday to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the event and the moment leading up to that infamous moonwalk.

First Man premieres at the 2018 Venice Film Festival before releasing in cinemas on 12th October. Here’s the new video.
