It seems that we’ve been waiting for Robin Hood forever, but we’ve not got all that long to wait for the Summit Entertainment-backed redo is just months away. The studio has dropped a couple of simple, though very effective posters for the redo starring Taron Egerton and Jamie Foxx. In the film, Egerton appears as the title character, while Foxx stars as Little John.
The film sees a war-hardened Crusader and a Moorish commander mount an audacious revolt against the corrupt English crown in a thrilling action-adventure. Packed with gritty battlefield exploits, mind-blowing fight choreography, and a timeless romance, Robin Hood is a never before seen story of how Robin Hood became the icon and legend as we know him today.
Also amongst the cast are Jamie Dornan as Will Scarlet, Eve Hewson as Maid Marion, Tim Minchin as Friar Tuck, and Paul Anderson as Guy of Gisborne.
